TOPDOWNPR

Roofing documentation for storm restoration

We'll Document the Roof. Your Carrier Decides Coverage.

Insurance restoration gets confusing when the roles blur. We handle the construction side: inspect the property, document visible damage, write the roofing scope, and complete authorized work.

Two jobs, two separate roles

We document the construction. Your carrier handles the policy.

We can prepare measurements, photos, estimates, and construction notes. When requested and scheduling allows, we may also attend a site inspection to identify materials and answer questions about how the roof is built.

TopDownPR is a roofing contractor. We are not a public adjuster, attorney, or insurance company. We don't interpret policy rights, negotiate coverage for a policyholder, guarantee approval, waive deductibles, or offer rebates intended to offset a deductible.

What goes into the file

Photos, measurements, components, and a construction estimate.

  • 01Photos of visible roof and exterior conditions
  • 02Measurements and roofing component identification when needed
  • 03A written contractor estimate or construction scope
  • 04Documentation for additional construction items when appropriate
  • 05A review of selections, scheduling, and what happens on build day

What we can handle

Clear roofing paperwork and the work you authorize.

Our role stays on the contractor side: document visible conditions, price the construction, and complete the approved scope.

Photo documentation

Organize clear photos and notes showing the roofing and exterior conditions we can observe.

Measurements and estimate

List the quantities, components, and contractor pricing for the work being proposed.

Carrier inspection attendance

Attend when requested and available to discuss construction details without acting as a public adjuster.

Authorized restoration work

Complete the roofing and exterior scope after you approve the contract and the work is authorized.

Keep the roles clear

You handle the policy. We handle the roof.

You handle policy decisions and your deductible. We handle accurate contractor documentation, a clear construction agreement, and the work you authorize.

We support restoration projects around Dayton, northern Montgomery County, Miami County, Franklin, Middletown, and the Cincinnati area. We work from the conditions at the property, not assumptions based on a nearby storm report.

Need contractor documentation for a roof claim?

Send the property address and tell us where the claim stands. Add any safe photos you already have.

If water is coming in now, send the form and call. Timing depends on location, weather, safe access, and crew availability.

Insurance project questions

Where the contractor's role starts and stops

Can TopDownPR tell me if insurance will cover the roof?

No. Your carrier makes that decision under your policy. We can show and document visible conditions, prepare an estimate, and explain the roofing work.

Will you waive or pay my deductible?

No. Property owners are responsible for their deductible obligations. We don't advertise waivers or rebates meant to offset a deductible.

What if you uncover more damage during the job?

We'll photograph the condition and prepare contractor information for the additional work. You and the carrier handle authorization and any coverage decision before the scope changes.
